Today, the Women's Flat Track Derby Association released their second-quarter rankings -- easily the most important release of the year, as the top ten teams from each region are invited to participate in the four regional fall tournaments, with the top three finishers from each tournament advancing to the November 5-7 WFTDA 2010 Championships in Chicago, IL

HAGERSTOWN, MD -- The first season of the Men's Derby Coalition hits its midpoint this Saturday as the Harm City Homicide (Baltimore, MD) and the Connecticut Death Quads face off in a match that will leave one team still winless and facing a very hard road to a potential berth in the October championship matchup.

I have been amazed with the long and vigorous debate going on in this month's Power Rankings thread, so I decided to check our database to see which articles are the most commented of all time on DNN. This month's thread comes in at #8 (so far), but y'all sure do love to argue about rankings -- six out of the top ten are ranking threads, the past three months all included.

Well, hello. We had every intention of getting the Power Rankings out on the first of the month this time, but it turned out that agreement was considerably harder to come by than it has been previously this year.

The last weekend in June was a doozy for DNN -- we brought you whistle-to-whistle live coverage of a record-breaking 39 bouts in one weekend!
